Nathalie McLean (she/her) is an Aboriginal-Scottish creative powerhouse from Meanjin (BNE), now thriving in Naarm (MEL) home for the past decade. A graduate of Victoria University, she’s a natural born storyteller, Nathalie has carved her niche across arts, media, and cultural consultancy. Her dynamic career spans acting, audiobook narration on Audible, and her ground-breaking tenure as MEAA’s National First Nations Organiser where she led pivotal industry reforms. She’s currently creating wearable art and playing with fashion.

Nathalie is a saltwater and desert woman who decends from the Wakka Wakka, Gubbi Gubbi and Kullilli clans in Queensland - Conlon and Bennet families, and McLean family from Scotland. Nathalie and her family are recognised as Native Title holders for the Kullilli Nation of South West Queensland. She embraces her full cultural inheritance as an Aboriginal-Scottish woman born in Bundaberg (1990).
